Our Specialities -- Thermal Fusion and Treated Papers
Fiberesin starts by treating a variety of papers in its own treating facility. These materials are then thermofused into a variety of engineered materials including:
- Laminated Panels:
These papers and decoratives are treated, dried, then sandwiched over various thicknesses of wood, metal, and other substrates to create Fiberesin’s exclusive LPM+ panel stock. Our thermally-fused material provides physical properties and abrasion-resistance which meet or exceed high pressure laminate but for less cost. In addition to our thermally fused panel stock, Fiberesin also employs cold press technology to lay up high pressure laminate sheet stock.
- Solid Phenolics:
Kraft papers are treated, dried, then booked in the press to create solid phenolic panel stock in a variety of thicknesses. Solid phenolic is light weight yet provides tremendous strength and fabricating flexibility.
- Specialty Papers:
Specialty papers are treated and pressed to create performance engineered products such as door laminate and window sash materials. Formulations are varied to meet specific requirements for tensile strength, moisture vapor transmission, internal bond, moisture absorption, linear expansion, etc.
